St Andrews University Announces £6 Million Renovation of Historic Building

The University of St Andrews has unveiled plans for a £6 million renovation of the former Madras College building, a historic site on campus. The redevelopment will create 'New College,' which will serve as the new home for the St Andrews Business School and the School of International Relations.

Alongside these academic spaces, the project will include a café and improved accessible facilities to enhance the student and staff experience.

This renovation forms part of the university’s larger £300 million ‘Making Waves’ fundraising campaign, aimed at upgrading facilities and expanding academic offerings.

The project reflects St Andrews' commitment to blending tradition with modernity to support its growing academic community.
