Following a series of project wins and an excellent financial year which saw the business more than double its turnover, Rive Gauche London has announced plans to expand its team from eight to 15 by summer 2023. Led by Nicolas Roux, the luxury multi-disciplinary design studio, has an ethos for design and is the combination of French elegance and British luxury, delivering a new level of exceptional client experience from concept to completion.

Up-coming projects include: new development The Lucan in Chelsea, a 31 unit former police station which blends European design with Middle Eastern influences, a four-bedroom apartment in One Grosvenor Square, which is focused around its client’s exceptional art collection; a penthouse next to Hyde Park where a second level is being added to create a vast lateral space with a terrace offering views across the park and lastly, a house in Holland Park which is undergoing an extension and reconfiguration to offer an entertainment area with spa, pool, hammam and gymnasium.
Internationally, the team is working on a number of highly confidential projects ranging from £5m to £400m. These include a palatial villa in Dubai, which is being redesigned utilising its private clients authentic French and European furniture and lighting collection, two new houses in Saudi Arabia, an iconic apartment in Paris overlooking the Arc de Triomph and a luxury hotel group, yet to be announced.
Nicolas Roux, Founder of Rive Gauche London, developed a passion for expert craftsmanship after many years working alongside his father, a master carpenter and joiner, in their family’s workshop in the French countryside. With experience working for multiple globally renowned studios, including Candy & Candy and Terence Conran, Nicolas’s expertise is unmatched.
