Henry Harrison built 26 Ceylon Road in 1987 when he was the owner of number 27. After acquiring a plot of derelict land directly adjacent, he built the 1,587 sq. ft. home using bricks from the remnants of a collection of large houses on Brook Green that had been demolished.
