Croatia is a burgeoning power in both the tourism and real estate. This beautiful European nation is enjoying an increasing reputation as one of the continents top spots to holiday, with over 18 million people visiting in 2018. Nadia Frost sets sail to its sunny shores for a chat with Dario Luketa, CEO of Consilium Expert Group (CEG)

Focused on the development of high-end luxury touristic resorts and residences in prime locations, CEG is currently working on several investment opportunities that will create a difference in the existing Croatian touristic and residential offerings. CEO Dario Luketa explains: “Based on 30 years of experience on Croatian and international real estate markets, we’ve learned that in order to create trends, we need to be at least twice as good as our competitors. “Croatian properties are attractive as the housing market is less developed than in other Mediterranean countries, and therefore, luxury properties are available at competitive prices, offering annual returns between 8-10%. We mainly invest in luxury resorts and residences, thus filling a significant gap that exists between Croatia and other comparable touristic destinations.”

As a pilot project in the luxury segment, CEG engaged Lotus Architecti to design the Magnificent View project on the Croatian island of Hvar. Magnificent View (www.magnificent-view.com) consists of seven, individual, deluxe four-bedroom suite smart villas, carefully positioned in a gated community atop the Old Town of Hvar. Designed to provide a hedonistic experience, guests will not have to think about anything other than enjoying themselves, and taking in an impressive view of the Paklinski Islands.

Each Smart villa will be equipped with an electric car, two electric bicycles, sauna, gym, and pool. As per owners’ request, property management and concierge services can be made available.

Concludes Dario: “Magnificent View will give visitors the opportunity to experience Hvar in the optimum way, and we can’t wait to debut this project.”
