Leading London developer Mount Anvil has partnered with Peloton to offer its residents’ access to The Hub at The Silk District in Whitechapel, a dedicated fitness space featuring the immersive Peloton Bikes.
The Hub at The Silk District in Whitechapel will allow residents’ at the development full access to the original Peloton Bike, which combines fitness, technology and media to connect riders to world-class workouts. The Silk District will be used as a pilot, allowing Mount Anvil to better understand how health and wellbeing needs and gym usage has changed as a result of the pandemic before being rolled out across future schemes.
As a developer that strives to create places where people can thrive, Mount Anvil is passionate about promoting health and wellbeing, with the effects of the pandemic having only reaffirmed the importance of wellness at home. The Peloton partnership is an extension of the developers’ level of care and attention to detail when creating outstanding places.
Jon Hall, Group Sales Director at Mount Anvil, comments: “I’m a huge fan of Peloton, and it’s revolutionised the way I work out, especially during the pandemic when commercial gyms have been closed. I’m so excited to bring this forward for our residents so they can experience it for themselves either in The Hub at The Silk District or from the comfort of their own home.
“I suspect the introduction of the bikes will be a real hit given Peloton’s growing popularity and will help us make more insight-led decisions around the layout and design of our upcoming developments.”
Access to Peloton for every resident will form part of the service charge, at no greater cost to the residents.
