Orwell Park School has officially joined the Benenden family of schools, forming a partnership aimed at enhancing educational opportunities for pupils while maintaining each school’s unique identity.
The Suffolk-based prep school, which educates boys and girls aged 2–13, has long enjoyed a close relationship with Benenden. Under the partnership, Orwell Park will come under Benenden School governance while retaining its senior leadership team, enabling collaboration on best practices and shared initiatives.
Rachel Bailey, Headmistress of Benenden School, said:
"Our schools share an ethos of excellence, courtesy, and community. We look forward to ensuring every child benefits from an outstanding and innovative education."
Simon O’Malley, Head of Orwell Park, added:
"This partnership strengthens Orwell Park’s position as the leading prep school in East Anglia and provides exciting opportunities for pupils and staff alike."
The collaboration marks a new chapter for both schools, combining tradition, innovation, and shared values to prepare pupils with the skills, confidence, and ambition to thrive.
