New Principal Appointed at Award-Winning Monkton Combe School

Monkton Combe School has welcomed Bradley Salisbury as its new Principal, marking an exciting new chapter for the Independent Boarding School of the Year 2025.

A former Monkton pupil, Bradley returns with both personal insight and extensive leadership experience. He previously spent more than a decade leading Dean Close School and has held senior roles at Wells Cathedral School and Bristol Cathedral Choir School.

His appointment follows a landmark year for Monkton and signals both continuity and fresh ambition. Bradley has already emphasised the importance of critical thinking, creativity and strong community values, alongside academic excellence.

Set just outside Bath, Monkton continues to build on its strong foundations — now under the leadership of one of its own.
