While established Global Citizenship programmes remain a popular and innovative sector of the international real estate market, 2026 is panning out to be a buoyant year for emerging Citizenship initiatives.

Several countries are exploring new citizenship by investment frameworks, while others are in early‑stage discussions about joining the CBI landscape.

Botswana, Argentina, and St Vincent & the Grenadines are currently at advanced stages of developing and planning structured investment‑linked routes to citizenship and long‑term residence.
