Pop goddess Cher, who hit the big screen this month in Mamma Mia 2, has listed her funky four-bedroom home Los Angeles for $2.499 million.
The secluded Tudor revival home in Beverly Crest is surrounded by a lush garden, including a koi pond and meditation area, and was used by the 72-year-old singer and actress when working in LA. Modern interiors feature open living areas that the singer has decorated with eclectic throw carpets, leather seating and carved wooden furniture.
The master bedroom also has two fireplaces and a cozy sitting room lined in bookshelves.
The 25,000-square-foot lot sits at the end of a dead-end street surrounded by mountains, and features a rustic timber facade typical of Tudor-era cottages in the English countryside. The 3,000-square-foot home features high ceilings, wide-plank hardwood floors and exposed ceiling beams.
Cher bought the home through a private trust in 2013 for $2.125 million and is now listed with Rayni Williams and Branden Williams of Hilton & Hyland.
The home is situated on a road off of the celebrity-filled Coldwater Canyon area, and was once home to Modern Family actor Ed O’Neill and wife, actress Catherine Rusoff, who previously owned the home from the late 1990s through the early 2000s.
