Rich, young 20-somethings have snapped up eight luxury penthouses in one of the most affluent parts of London.
A statement from the property developers, Galliard Homes, said the millennials have paid about £5m ($6.55m) each for the apartments.
Galliard Homes added that the buyers are “London based, business entrepreneurs, who have their own businesses or senior positions within the legal, IT, media and property sectors.” The group did not reveal any other details of the purchasers.
Each property has a double reception room and three-bedroom suites with custom designed oak flooring and double doors opening onto the master bathroom, each with luxury en-suite facilities.
The family kitchen and breakfast room have bespoke design kitchens by Valcucine Artematica and feature glass worktops with stainless steel appliances.
Penthouse residents also have access to a 24/7 concierge, as well as underground bike and car parking. Each home also has a 1,668ft2 roof garden with private pool.
The penthouses are situated in London’s Islington Square development, next to a number of transport links, as well as the famous Upper Street. If residents don’t want to venture too far from home, they have access to their own retail, leisure and lifestyle facilities within the development.
Apart from shops, cafes and restaurants, they have access to a luxury screen-and-dine cinema, ‘The Lounge’ by Odeon where there is a menu of food and cocktails served straight to the sofa-like seats.
