Greenery and year-round colour from a lush central garden and rooftop sanctuary are some of the standout features award-winning Australian developer, Little Projects, will incorporate into its newest flagship residential project in Malvern East, 12km south-east of Melbourne.
Autumnal oranges and reds alongside spring flowers, will provide a living backdrop and seasonal change to Hedgeley’s timeless architecture and luxuriously-appointed residences.
The gently curving lines and focus on landscaping throughout the project, pays tribute to Malvern East’s historic parklands and Melbourne’s growing appreciation for sustainable living.
Little Projects’ General Manager of Sales and Marketing Fergus Humphries said Hedgeley is a carefully considered residential project and an exciting opportunity to introduce stunning architecture and green initiatives into this well-established and highly desired blue-chip suburb.
“We pride ourselves on taking each project to a new level, focussing not only on how it blends in with the existing community but the finite details within the development that will enhance an occupant’s living capabilities and lifestyle,” he said.
“Hedgeley combines spacious and highly liveable apartments where the meticulous planning, inside and out, green initiatives and exemplary resident’s amenities will create a landmark residential destination for Malvern East.”
Award-winning architecture firm SJB, in collaboration with AdeB Architects, has created a modern curvilinear façade which cleverly sculpts around Hedgeley’s central atrium garden thoughtfully curated by renowned landscape architect Jack Merlo.
Natural light will flood the apartments internally, highlighting the elegant interiors that SJB interior Director Ljiljana Gazevic said were heavily influenced by the project’s parkland location. She says the goal was to create a sophisticated and luxurious space that was both comfortable and inviting.
“We wanted to have an emphasis on the details and the craftsmanship. This level of detailing extended beyond the apartments to include the lobby and resident amenities as well,” she said.
Well-appointed rooftop amenities, a Little Projects signature, will create an idyllic sanctuary bordered by pergolas and ornamental grapes, surrounding large dining tables and barbecue areas.
There will also be a gym, private cinema, and a sumptuous lounge for exclusive use by the residents.
