For those in the know, Japan offers some of the best powder ski opportunities across the globe. Due to frequent snow fall across the mountains of Hokkaido, the island is one of the most popular ski destinations and for those looking for a luxurious way to experience of the best of the world’s best snow, there is Niseko.

With a ski season running from December-April and average snow of 15m+ Niseko Ski Resort is officially Japan’s number one snow resort, famous for its wide-open powder bowls, tree runs and stunning views.

With a total of 105 rooms that consist of studios, suites, and penthouses, Skye Niseko is located at the base of the King Pair Lift. True ski-in ski-out, it's one of the most unique properties in Niseko. Its architecture is almost curvy, following certain flows. Each apartment is beautifully furnished with attention to all the detailing. Each room has been designed to allow plenty of living space. Early last year a brand-new ski-in ski-out hotel designed by Melbourne’s BAR Studio in conjunction with Nikken Sekkei and Fujita Corporation. The hotel also houses a range of facilities includes 11 restaurants, lounges, and bars including private dining, wine cellars, spa, onsen, Health Club, a 25m indoor pool, and karaoke. Bookings include a Ski Valet Service (with rentals and lessons), exclusive access to the Hanazono Golf course, and a kid-friendly with Camp Hyatt activities and services.

Soseki is a two-story, 6-bedroom home furnished with Japanese finishes and Italian furniture. Guests can glimpse the impressive Mt. Yotei views from every room, as they move to the living area to gather around the balcony fireplace to times spent unwinding from a day on the slopes on the Natuzzi sofas. Premium facilities give the house an extra polish from the kitchen's walnut finish and ceramic counter, as well as a Miele oven and microwave, and a full-size dishwasher.
