The former Belgravia home of music legend Christine McVie has been brought to market, asking £6.95mn.
The keyboardist and singer in British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, who died aged 79 in 2022, bought the penthouse on Eaton Place in 2015 after selling her Kent mansion.
It is now being sold via PCL agency Beauchamp Estates, which is expecting “global interest” in the listing.
Measuring 2,674 square feet, the three-bed duplex has ceiling heights of nearly three metres, air con and a large private roof terrace.
A full refurb was carried out around a decade ago, introducing oak parquet flooring in the main double reception room and a bespoke Shaker style kitchen; the interior has just been refreshed by designer Simon Buhl Davis.
McVie was part of the Fleetwood Mac’s classic line-up, alongside drummer Mick Fleetwood, bassist John McVie, singer Stevie Nicks and guitarist and singer Lindsey Buckingham.
With a private roof garden, the penthouse has all the layout advantages of a house with entertaining on the lower level and the private bedrooms on the upper floor. Bright and airy with a superb specification and tastefully decorated the penthouse offers contemporary living in Belgravia at its very best.
