Chamonix is a case in point. Widely recognised as the leading ‘all-seasons’ Alpine destination, with more visitors to Europe’s highest mountain in summer than in winter, Chamonix also leads the Alpine Property Price Index with +4.8%.

Successful resorts are also those that invest heavily in their infrastructure such as Val d’Isère which stands a close second in the rankings with +2% on the APPI.
