Abode2 is unveiling the first photos of all of the 40,000 square feet of amenity spaces at Brooklyn Point — currently the tallest tower in the borough that you can live in. Images of its amazing rooftop infinity pool, the highest in the Western Hemisphere, had already been released but now Abode2 shares more images of all of the other amazing indoor and outdoor amenities.
With interiors and amenities by Toronto-based Katherine Newman of Katherine Newman Design, these spaces include a rock climbing wall, a health and wellness facility with a 65’ indoor saltwater swimming pool, infrared sauna, steam room, hot tub, fitness studio rooms, a squash/basketball court, a chef’s demonstration kitchen, wine library, game lounge, screening & performance room, private study, and children’s playroom. The triple-height Park Lounge is also absolutely stunning and features a signature bar, salon, fireplace, and co-working space. This room portrays Newman’s vision of a hipster hotel lobby reflecting a 50’s Scandinavian influence. Newman used the multidimensional character and eclectic energy of Brooklyn as her primary design inspiration, evoking nods to the industrial simplicity of resurfaced warehouses, the artisanal aesthetic language expressed by local artists and iconic midcentury American and Scandinavian design. Her words to describe the spaces at Brooklyn Point are “industrial chic” and “hipster aesthetic.”
Brooklyn Point’s amenities also include an outdoor oasis on the ninth floor, designed by award-winning landscape architecture firm Mathews Nielsen Landscape Architects (the designers of Little Island)! The ninth-floor landscaped terrace includes al fresco dining areas with gas grills, a putting green, fire pit, lounge areas, terrace bar and the Forest Adventure children’s playground.
