Abode2 looks around the new show apartment styled by Muchmore Design at Frasers Property’s completed flagship scheme, Riverside Quarter

Frasers Property UK have unveiled a new contemporary show apartment dressed by Muchmore Design in the final building, Nine Eastfields, at their flagship scheme Riverside Quarter in Wandsworth.

Nine Eastfields is a 14-storey building and is the final phase of the overall Riverside Quarter scheme which completes the regeneration of the site, once a former Shell oil terminal. Wooden and blue accents in the soft furnishings and decorations are placed throughout drawing in the external views of the river.

The apartment features an open-plan living/kitchen/dining room with large floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors which opens onto a winter garden with uninterrupted views of the river.  Large mirrors have been installed to reflect the bright riverside surroundings and connect the space to the wider development.

Both bedrooms also have floor to ceiling windows with views over the river, the soft furnishings used are dark coloured to amplify cosiness of the space and to allow the views beyond the windows to do much of the talking. A freestanding curved headboard with upholstered panels in a French-made Jacquard fabric with a geometric retro pattern acts as though a piece of art, emphasising the adaptability and importance of each piece of furniture within a home.  The principal bedroom en-suite, and family bathroom are modern and sleek with floor to ceiling tiles, large mirrors and clean porcelain toilet and sink. The sleek stainless steel taps and rain showers further emphasise the luxury feel of this apartment.

The apartment has been carefully designed to illustrate the functionality of the space and how different zones can be created for different uses. For example, a working from home space with a two-toned wooden desk sits on the far end away from the kitchen of the open plan kitchen/living room. This zone was further defined in the wider space through the use of a unique designer shelf, planting and working accessories. Muchmore Design also established two areas in the winter garden, a small bistro dining area and a relaxing lounge area, which connect to the living room and increase the sense of space.
