The Grand Hotel Busca Thedy is nestled in the Italian Alps at the heart of the Monterosa Ski Resort, the largest ski resort in the Valle d’Aosta region. In the winter the resort offers 180 km of slopes plus endless options for heli-skiing and freeriding as well as cross country. In the summer, hikes and excursions on the beautiful Monterosa glaciers attract visitors from all over the world. Gressoney was also the summer residence of the Italian royal family; their castle can still be visited. There are also plenty of opportunities to use the hotel as a location for conferences, workshops and team building.

The hotel complex is comprised of two different buildings for a total surface area of 6,000 square meters. There is an additional 10,000 sqm field in front.

The historic portion of the buildings was built in the 1930s; for several decades, it served as the main holiday destination for the aristocracy and was even the first hotel in the region to provide its guests with warm water in the rooms. Its architecture mixes elements of the Italian rationalist and belle époque styles.Regional legislation offers funds to restore the building and to expand it up to 40% in a hotel redevelopment, as well as to build spas and relaxation areas.
