Brinkworth Brings The Magic

EcoWorld London have opened the doors to a brand-new experiential marketing suite, inclusive of a sales room and show apartment, and alongside a café space delivered by E5 Bakehouse, at Oxbow – East London. Design consultancy Brinkworth, who are most known for their concept store designs for brands Supreme, Fornasetti and adidas, are the appointed designers on the project.

A step away from the traditional static experience, the new marketing suite serves to act as a concept home and mini neighbourhood, where prospective buyers can start to experience life within Oxbow - East London. Set to complete in 2022, this mixed-use development will consist of a vibrant new high street, work hub, café, a GP practice, and grocer as well as a new public square.

A generous, flexible event space is given pride of place at the entrance and is key to the experience. A space for workshops, interaction, demonstrations, or just hanging out, it creates a lively hub for engagement that sets the tone for the rest of the spaces. EcoWorld London has further partnered with local coffee roastery to E5 Bakehouse to deliver the onsite coffee shop, and recently welcomed east London baker, Vicky’s Donuts into the space to run a live-streamed baking demonstration.

Smaller areas for public or private consultation, hospitality, display, and presentations have been spatially planned around the notion of a meandering Oxbow river. And a careful selection of locally designed and produced furniture, art and accessories have been curated to complete and dress the spaces, which creates an authentic East London aesthetic and attitude.

For customers who are not able to visit, EcoWorld London are creating online experiences to act as an extension of their marketing suites. High profile influencers such as interior designer Cate St Hill, held online design workshops for new home owners, to help them establish their own style, as well as chef Maunika Gowardhan, who ran an at-home Instagram live cooking demonstration from the kitchen of one of the homes.

Sarah Nolan-Watt, Head of Sales, EcoWorld London:
“While EcoWorld London has had an extraordinary year, which saw us connect virtually with our customers in a way we have not done previously, we still see the importance and value of meeting our customers in person. Spaces such as these give us a chance to illustrate quite literally what life within the new neighbourhood will be like, and an opportunity for us to put into design, what we can’t do in words.”

Sam Derrick, Director, Brinkworth:
“Brinkworth have called East London home for the last 30 years, which has created a perspective, and local network, that enabled a unique, appropriate response to EcoWorld London’s ambitions for the project. The Oxbow marketing suite has been designed to reflect, and respond to the spirit, character and creativity of its East London setting.”

In June 2020, EcoWorld London launched Phase 3B, Johanna and Gabriel Court within the Oxbow – East London development, consisting 180 new homes to market and comprised of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, offering a complete suite of lifestyle amenities.

Set to complete in 2022, Phase 3B is within the existing site and sees an evolution of the ‘modern warehouse’ aesthetic, inspired by the warehouses of East India Docks, weaving into the fabric of Poplar’s rich heritage and culture. Located amid a nexus of transport into both Canary Wharf and the City, these apartments provide the perfect home for dwellers working in the capital, or within many of the design studios, digital start-ups and tech labs all now found in thriving East London.
