When it comes to interior design trends, 2018 is bursting with fresh concepts. The team at Iggi share a selection of their favourites.
Fringe
Fringing is making its way back into the home. Gone are the days when fringe was only seen on lampshades in your grandparent’s home; it can now add modern, contemporary glamour.
Blush pink fringes on the bottom of mirrors will add a unique and feminine touch, whereas creamy whites will look natural yet punchy on lampshades. Remember earthy tones work better when paired with wooden furniture, such as stools and chairs.

Spa bathrooms
Soft and soothing; spa days are the epitome of luxury and relaxation. Spa bathrooms are all the rage right now – from earthy tones, marble walls and deep, inviting Jacuzzi baths, this trend is luxury personified and is sure to relax and revive your senses.

Metallics
2018's metallics are welcoming a more industrial look, as opposed to the copper shades which dominated last year. Less shine, more glam is the key to nail this trend, which has the ability to add warmth to a room, and help you have fun with your colour palette.

Rich pigments
Although Scandi chic is by no means dead, we’re seeing an influx of rich colours to accentuate living rooms and bedrooms.
Greens and yellows add a fresh positive feeling during winter months, whereas deep reds will take you through the autumn and truly represent your personality and bravery within the home.
Terrazzo
Big in the 70s, and now here to stay, 2018 terrazzo has gone completely eco-friendly, and is all about using recycled products to create the look.
This trend is extremely versatile and long-lasting, and the earthy splashes of colour are perfect for kitchens and bathrooms, where you can style and accessorise to your heart's content.

Plants
Bold potted plants are a quick way to enhance any living space, and add an on-trend, relaxing look and feel. With plants, it’s all about experimenting with different sizes and shapes. Too many might end up resembling a greenhouse, whereas too small and they’ll blend into the background.
Tropical prints
2018 greets tropical prints with energising deep greens, seducing fuchsia and regal purple. The look automatically breathes positivity into a room, as it instantly sends us to luxurious, sunnier climates.
