Atlantic Club Comporta Reveals First Villas

Atlantic Club Comporta in southern Portugal: a private condominium designed by French architect Jacques Grange – creator of homes for Sofia Coppola and Aerin Lauder – will have its first villas completed in time for summer.

The Atlantic Club Comporta, located near the beaches of Carvalhal and Pego, is a private condominium, an exclusive club-style community, completed with meticulous screen admission. Still under construction, the first 12 villas will be ready this summer. The second phase will be completed summer 2028.

With architecture inspired by the traditional huts of fisherman and agricultural workers in the region, in cabins, the project was designed by Jacques Grange, a world-renowned architect who, on his resume, has projects created for Sofia Coppola and Aerin Lauder. A lover of the region, Grange designed a project that celebrates the genuine Comporta lifestyle, focused on simplicity and authenticity. The available residencies perfectly combine the traditional aesthetics of Comporta with local contemporary luxury, incorporating local techniques and materials.

The Atlantic Club Comporta is made up of 24 villas spread over more than 15 hectares of land, and a “front house” structure, with reception, living room and a restaurant. The 24 residences are distributed in three or five buildings and may include one or two main cabins, the “guest house”, and also a structure to shelter vehicles. The villas, with very generous areas that can reach up to 700m2, include two swimming pools, one large and one for diving. The development benefits from privileged views of the rice fields and pine forest, stretching all the way to the ocean.

Surrounded by idyllic vegetation, the landscape architecture of this condominium is by Madison Cox, a renowned American landowner with exclusive projects around the world. A yoga studio, outdoor fitness spaces, and tennis and paddle courts complete the services of this modern private club.
