Small in size but big in personality this perfect Moscow Apartment in Russia makes us wish for summer hot days.
When a small apartment falling into the hands of a responsible designer, the first thing he should do – be concerned about the future comfort of client and be focused on functionality.
The difference in this case is that owners of the apartments are artistic and easy-going people, always prepared for any experiments.The designer, Nadya Zotova didn’t miss a chance to add some ideas.
Initially apartment was a typical example of “stalinka” (architecture style of the Soviet Union under the leadership of Joseph Stalin, between 1933 and 1955, is associated with the socialist realism school of art and architecture): a narrow hallway, a small kitchen, bathroom and WC separated.
During the process of redevelopment designer used every square meter and as a result a bedroom acquired with a wardrobe.
In the living room she found a place for a large dining table, and the corridor lost his area in order to expand spacious bathroom. The owners of apartment, who often work at home, also received a personal cabinet.
The color palette of apartments is built on deep blues and provocative shades of yellow that play with each other in every way. Brightly colored living room literally exploding in the small kitchen area, but then it switche to a half-whisper in the next room and newly discloses in the bedroom in a gentle flower theme.
Geometric prints on carpets and textiles in the living room and bedroom are responsible for a dynamic in interior. The cabinet is decorated with discreet vintage stripes and cells. The atmosphere of the apartment is a mix of typical forms of American furniture and vintage style. For lighting in the apartment the designer Nadya Zotova, choose for the main piece the suspension lamp Ella by DelightFULL, with its sober lines it has surpassed the test of time. A style of the fifties and sixties perfectly suitable for a living room in a small apartment.
