The world-famous Chelsea Flower Show 2024 is just around the corner, taking place from May 21st to 25th at the Royal Hospital Chelsea. This year's show promises to be a spectacular display of horticulture, with a special focus on sustainability.
A show for every garden enthusiast
Whether you're a seasoned gardener with acres of land or a city dweller with a tiny balcony, the Chelsea Flower Show is sure to inspire. The Show Gardens along the Main Avenue will showcase breathtaking landscape designs, while the Sanctuary and Feature Gardens will explore specific themes through creative planting.
If you're tight on space, The Balcony and Container Gardens section is packed with ideas for creating flourishing green havens in even the most compact areas. And for true plant aficionados, the Floral Marquee is a must-see. Visitors will get lost amongst the incredible displays created by expert growers and floral artists, and pick up expert tips from the professionals themselves.
Sustainability takes centre stage
The RHS is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its shows, and this year's Chelsea Flower Show will be the greenest yet. Organisers are working closely with garden designers to create displays that are not only beautiful but also environmentally friendly. Look out for eco-friendly strategies, the use of low-carbon materials, and processes that minimise waste.

Abode2 braved the rain yesterday to experience the delights of Chelsea Flower Show first hand – and it didn’t disappoint!
We particularly loved the interesting sculptures by Clancy, which are created using traditional and digital techniques and take the shape of recognisable animals. – and the beautiful bronze wildlife sculptures by Hamish Mackie.
There was so much to see alongside the beautiful flowers, it left us brimming with ideas for our own gardens… now where to put the moose!

King Charles III will be the next patron of the Royal Horticultural Society, following on from the late Queen Elizabeth II who became Patron in 1952 and remained patron for 70 years, visiting RHS Chelsea Flower Show nearly every year of her reign.
Today their Majesties, The King and Queen will be visiting the RHS’s world-famous gardening event, the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, where they will not only meet the growers and designers, but they will also visit The RHS 'No Adults Allowed Garden'! This is a garden that children have designed and is the first of its kind in the history of the show. It aims to encourage children to ‘become gardeners to help the planet, whilst having some fun’.
