Stunning artwork adorned the walls of London’s Opera Gallery which played host to Abode2 Luxury Property Magazine’s ‘Property, Art and Design Soirée' on Thursday 25th January.
The event, in the esteemed gallery on New Bond Street, was held in partnership with leading finance company Hawksford, award-winning property developer Berkeley Homes, London-based design consultancy CID Interieur and 3D property imaging pioneers White Crow Studios.
300 invited guests from the world of property, design and interiors, media, banking and finance got together to enjoy a lively evening of property investment debate, art appreciation and networking.
Priceless works from 20th Century masters amongst them: Georges Braque, Bernard Buffet and Fernando Botero adorned the walls of the luxurious black room, transitioning into the main gallery portfolio showcase with arresting photography from David LaChapelle and pop art supremo - Andy Warhol. Sculptures from talents such as Marc Sijan caught the attention of many guests, as did the standout curated collection from London-based futurist Nick Gentry and New British Sculpture champion Julian Opie.
The awe-inspiring and thought-provoking pieces created a talking point for guests, as they absorbed the diverse range of paintings, sculpture and photography creatively curated by gallery owner Gilles Dyan and director Sebastien-Fabien Plantin.
Keynote speakers for the evening included Minister Counsellor Jin Xu from the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, Global Head of Private Client Services at Hawksford, Darren Kelland and author and Asian business entrepreneur Sally Wang, of SJW Property.
A highlight from the night was the game-changing property imaging software from White Crow Studios, available for guests to try using 3D glasses while they enjoyed drinks and sushi.
Laura Henderson, Managing Editor of Abode2, commented: “Gilles and his team have curated such incredible collections, which range from renowned classical artists to contemporary creative powerhouses, making it a pleasure to spend an evening amongst such spectacular works of art.
