A Look Inside Belvoir

Magna Carta Park from Royalton Residences, unveil the inside of the luxurious new showhome, Belvoir, a four bedroom, three- en-suite bathroom townhouse in the heart of its 57 acre private estate, due to be completed later this year. Designed by celebrated interior designer Louise Bradley; it is meant to epitomise luxury, understated elegance and countryside-calm; befitting of its woodland setting and classically English style.

The focal-point of Belvoir is its living spaces which maximise natural light and maintain the feeling of being close to nature. The kitchen-dining room sits on the raised ground floor, over-looking the rest of the development with large bay, sash-windows, ideal for a family breakfast or informal supper, whilst staying connected to the generous contemporary kitchen with  double-oven, large island and hand-thrown ceramic lights and drop-lit pendant lights. Many of the materials in this space gives a nod to natural resources from wicker baskets, reclaimed wood console tables, to parchment-paper pressed flowers hung in frames on the dining room wall.

Adding to the social and relaxed ambience of the showhome, the living room draws on textures and tones remininscent of the British seasons. Accents of yellow create a playful spring-like air to the soft-furnishings, ranging fom plump cushions and deep sofas.  Beside this are petrified wood side tables and coffee table with a hammered metal frame detail and honed granite top.

In the master bedroom, comfort and relaxation are the watch-words for Louise Bradley’s design.  The studded headboard and antique framed botanical artwork creates a soothing and tranquil place to restore and recharge. In addition, there are specialist veneer bedsides with bronze handle detail and quartz bedside lamps with silk shades. The adjoining dressing room uses muted velvets and intimate floor lamps to further create an atmosphere of peacefulness.

Louise Bradley, interior designer commented, "The inspiration behind the design of the showhome is Magna Carta Park’s exceptional rural setting -  the grounds of the private estate have a number of protected, ancient trees such as oak, yew, beech, willow and scots pine, so that was a natural starting points for the tones and textures of the interiors. My intention was to ensure that residents felt like the British woodland was part of their everyday life, both inside their home and when enjoying the extensive grounds.”
