Auriens Chelsea is more than a chic residential address – it embodies a sophisticated lifestyle that transcends generations. Julia Millen took a tour to find out more about this exclusive development.
Steps away from the King’s Road with its charming boutiques, restaurants and galleries, lies Auriens Chelsea. The 56 exquisite apartments, available for sale or rent, balance innovative design with impeccable quality finishes, all complemented by amenities and service you would normally experience in the city’s finest hotels.
Here, settling in doesn’t mean settling down – unless you want it to. Whatever your idea of the good life, the five-star amenities provide everything you need to truly enjoy your life. Residents can enjoy a hair and beauty salon, speakeasy bar, 12-seater cinema, barber, wine room and a well-stocked library, complete with baby grand piano.
There’s also a 15-metre pool and separate hydrotherapy pool, fully equipped gym and spa with health and fitness programmes available to not just add more years to life, but to add more life to residents’ years.
While Auriens is certainly an opulent environment, its true character comes from the feel of community running throughout, driven by friendships, mutual respect, and a deep-rooted commitment to residents’ health and wellbeing. To this end, Auriens partners with The Kyros Project. Gideon Remfry, Auriens' Wellness Director and one of the top 25 trainers in the world, oversees the luxurious pool, gym, and spa spaces and conducts comprehensive wellness assessments for new residents upon their arrival.
Designed to address the underlying causes of any issues rather than simply treating the symptoms, these unique assessments monitor residents’ key health areas, including bone density and blood oxidation levels. Residents receive results and tailored recommendations before being tested again at the end of the six-week period.
This proactive approach to health is also reflected in the care and support services available through the on-site Draycott Care team, and through the nutritionally considered menus available in the restaurant.
Culfords restaurant is led by its extremely knowledgeable and experienced Head Chef, Matt Tsistrakis, whose impressive CV includes The Savoy, The Connaught, and The Sloane Club. Collaborating closely with Kyros’s medical nutritionist, Matt continually explores how he can subtly pack more nutrition and protein into Culfords’ menus, without compromising on flavour and quality.
Auriens takes inspiration from the concept of ‘Blue Zones’, which explores the lifestyles of communities around the world where people live longer, healthier, more fulfilling lives. Such regions, which include Okinawa, Japan, Sardinia, Italy, and Nicoya, Costa Rica, have revealed several key factors that contribute to longevity, wellbeing, and happiness of their populations. These include strong social connections, a sense of purpose, regular physical activity, a plant-based diet, and a supportive environment – all of which are echoed in Auriens’ approach to later living and the creation of its unique, vibrant community. As well as a varied timetable of fitness classes, the community is further enhanced with a bustling calendar of social events, including jazz evenings and talks from prominent local figures.
There are a range of apartments available, with one-bedroom apartments starting at £2.75m. To find out more visit auriens.com.
