When life’s busy, dedicating time to find good tenants is tricky. James Matthews spoke to Edgar Durao, MD of Property Manager Amsterdam (PMA), to find out how they help clients secure rental peace of mind

Tell us about Property Manager Amsterdam

Property Manager Amsterdam (PMA) relieves investors and landlords of the stress that can be involved in searching for and securing suitable tenants for high-end properties. Our services include Letting, Property Management and Investment advice.

Our comprehensive consultation service begins with purchasing and rentability advice, so that the property can be thoroughly prepared for the rental market and ongoing management. This process involves advice on any improvements, maintenance and decoration required to detailed property inspection and inventory reports, cleaning, advertising, viewings, interviews, and more.

Along with the tenancy, we provide all the support the tenant requires in order to enjoy their home at the touch of a button, by using our app. Each property is assigned a Property Manager, as a single point of contact for all matters, for both the tenant and the landlord.

At the end of the PM cycle, we also aim to deliver the property back to the owner in better condition, than when it was first listed on our books.

Do you work exclusively in The Netherlands?

At the moment, we’re focusing exclusively on Amsterdam and the surrounding area. Everyone who comes to Amsterdam wants canal views, and as there are few new build developments, such property is in high demand. We’ve had enquiries from other parts of the Netherlands, as there are numerous international companies with headquarters situated in towns and cities nearby. Demand is therefore extremely high.
