First Look: Sapphire Sands Villas, Saint Lucia’s New Beachfront Resort

Reduit Beach has long been the heart of tourism in Saint Lucia - a wide, golden shoreline lined with restaurants, water sports operators and some of the island’s most popular hotels.

It’s also where Bay Gardens Resorts, one of Saint Lucia’s most successful family-owned hotel groups, is launching its newest property.

Opening in February 2026, Sapphire Sands Villas will bring a new style of beachfront stay to Rodney Bay Village. The small villa retreat sits directly on Reduit Beach, placing guests on one of the island’s most recognisable stretches of sand, with calm waters and panoramic views of Pigeon Island.

The property will feature nine three-bedroom villas (27 keys), which can be configured into one-, two- or three-bedroom accommodations. Each villa has a fully equipped kitchen, contemporary interiors, private balconies and sweeping ocean views. Select ground-floor villas include plunge pools just steps from the sand.

The idea is to offer more space and flexibility than a traditional resort, with the amenities and service of a boutique property.
