Sebastian Blakeley fuses a rich and full English craftsman heritage with an Italian Industrial Design ethic, heavily influenced and shaped through twelve years living and working in Tuscany. Sebastian Blakeley’s beautiful collection of dining chairs, recently launched on to the luxury made market, magnanimously illustrates the experience and evolution of his journey.

The tactile, crafted woodwork embraces a profound respect and knowledge of sustainable timbers, manual skills and natural finishes. Yet at the same time performing in perfect balance with the semi-industrial aluminium, bronze or steel components. A combination of great style with well thought out functionality and studied ergonomics. This formula is very much Sebastian’s signature, his branding. Giving the designs a caliber and weight to their aesthetic that cannot be faked. Their aesthetic comes out of him and his life.

Sebastian collaborates closely with the client, designing and tailoring totally individual handcrafted commissions. Whether it is dining table, coffee table or four poster bed. Sebastian enables each client their own “signature;” through a choice of leather, hide, skin or fabric, a selection of northern hemisphere sustainable hardwoods, as well as various metal options.

All furniture leaving the workshops is issued with a birth certificate providing customers with a guarantee of providence.
