Interior design is a lucrative business - a far cry from the common perception of a lifestyle venture of a creative individual, heading up his or her own eponymous studio. Luxury design studio 1508 London is a perfect example of this shift, attracting large-scale funding from powerful foreign investors and rapid growth with a vision of creating a highly profitable and scalable business.

Set up only 6 years ago, employing over 40 exceptional designers and architects that manage projects both in London, and internationally. From one of the Studio’s earliest projects, which was a private villa in Monaco, the design team has since worked on two significant 25,000 square-foot villas in Dubai, and over 400,000 square feet of private villas for the proposed Four Seasons Resort in Goa. The team currently has projects in the South of France, Saudi Arabia, Istanbul, Pakistan, Nigeria and a project in collaboration with Squire and Partners in St Petersburg, in addition to its many London commissions, in particular the prestigious Chelsea Barracks development. Even the select few office projects that 1508 London chooses to undertake span from Index Tower in Dubai to New York.

His ability to understand every facet of the design sphere and inherent understanding of the market means he is ideally placed to not only to spear head 1508 London’s new business but to grow the company into a truly international brand. “If there are no limits to how much and how well we can grow the 1508 London business, whether that’s geographically or through the diversification of our portfolio, why should we impose any?” he adds.
