Six Senses Residences Courchevel, the first residential spa development in 1850 opens this December featuring 53 beautifully appointed apartments, a Six Senses Spa, exclusive private ski-in-ski-out concierge plus all of the services that Six Senses brings to its guests.
Located in the heart of the world-famous ski resort, owners at Six Senses Residences Courchevel will have access to unrivalled amenities at the epicentre of one of the globe’s most coveted winter destinations.
Sales for Phase 2 have just been launched with purchase options at Six Senses Residences to include one- to three-bedroom apartments and up to five-bedroom duplex penthouse suites with private treatment rooms. All interiors have been designed by Alain Foeillet, blending contemporary styles with traditional mountain influences that celebrate the alpine aesthetic. The materials selected include porcelain tiles combining clay and pressed silica, brushed and flamed grey and beige stone and large timbers that form brushed and varnished panels. Fabrics are thick and hand-selected from Italian, French and American designers, whilst the furniture is a combination of original and custom-made pieces.
For the ultimate ski residences, ten spacious penthouses cover 100-300 square metres offering panoramic mountain views, up to five exquisitely appointed bedrooms, specially configured wine cellars and triple aspect balconies overlooking the slopes. Smaller apartments are also available all with their own balconies, terraces, guest rooms and parking spaces.
Six Senses Spa Courchevel will be the perfect place to ease tired muscles after an exhilarating day on the slopes. An open-plan reception and lounge area will welcome residents whilst a range of signature massages, restorative therapies, facials and body treatments will be offered across five dedicated treatment rooms. The spa will also feature an indoor swimming pool, saunas, steam room, a relaxation lounge, a gym and a studio for wellness classes. Manicure and pedicure stations and a juice bar will be seamlessly incorporated so residents and outside guests can enjoy complete hand and feet pampering complemented by a selection of healthy beverages. Comprehensive tailored wellness experiences will be available, making the spa a true destination as well as an experience. The spa will open in the fall of 2016.
Featuring 600km of slopes, Courchevel is the largest ski area in the world; however, it is not the pistes alone that endow this small mountain village with its celebrated reputation. Its streets are lined with designer boutiques and no less than 12 Michelin-star restaurants, making it a gastronome’s dream. Party lovers will be put through their paces at season favourites La Grange and Les Caves, which are within a short walking distance of Six Senses Residences.
Exclusive access to all that Courchevel has to offer, from private jet access to bespoke gourmet ski guiding, can be arranged by a dedicated Six Senses residents’ concierge who is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The ski concierge service will allow guests to ski on and off the piste morning and evening without the need to carry their skis or boots a single step. A shuttle service will also be provided during the day and evening.
