Launch of First Homes for Sale at Bath’s New Holburne Park  

Just a few days remain before the first homes at Bath's Holburne Park are launched to the market with strong interest from prospective buyers in this new classically-styled development.

The sales launch, on Saturday January 28^th, comes as Robert Adam, the acclaimed architect who has created the homes at Holburne Park and whose firm designed the Duchy of Cornwall's Poundbury in Dorset, has won a major international prize.

Robert Adam, director of leading classical architect practice ADAM Architecture, has been named the recipient of the highest value architecture award in the world, the Richard H. Driehaus Prize at the University of Notre Dame, which has a prize value of $200,000 (over £160,000).

His latest project, Holburne Park, is one of Bath's most significant new housing projects and a rare opportunity to own a brand new, but classically-designed home in Bath.

Francis Firmstone, director of developers Hardrock Developments, said: "There's already been huge excitement in Bath about us having an architect of the calibre of Robert Adam and this prestigious prize is further testament to his reputation and to the quality of the homes we are creating here."

A mixture of two, three and four-bedroom houses will be launched to the market on Saturday January 28^th, with prices starting from £480,000, £545,000 and £900,000 respectively.

In the run up to the launch, people interested in owning a property at Holburne Park have had the opportunity to visit the newly-opened marketing pavilion to find out more about the homes on offer.

Those interested in purchasing a property at Holburne Park are invited to come to the on-site marketing pavilion for the sales launch from 10am on Saturday 28^th January. There will be an opportunity to see examples of the layouts from the homes being created, have a look at some of the materials being used and view the 3D model of the development showing the homes in situ.

Holburne Park is set in a secluded location on Warminster Road, above Sydney Gardens and bordering the picturesque Kennet and Avon Canal. Surrounded by greenery and big open skies, with expansive views, yet a short, gentle stroll from the vibrant city centre, these new homes will have timeless appeal, honouring Bath's distinct character but designed for modern living.

A local in-house designer is overseeing the creation of these individually-designed homes in addition to acclaimed architect Robert Adam, fine tuning their design and ensuring each one makes the best use of the space and layout.

The facades of the homes will be made of locally-sourced Bath stone and natural materials with bespoke detailing. Many of the homes feature flexible living spaces as well as formal living rooms, open plan designs and garages or parking spaces.

Construction work is underway on the first phase of Holburne Park in Bath, marking an important milestone in the creation of this new neighbourhood. The overall development will be constructed in phases over the next three years and when complete, will provide over 200 new homes for Bath. Hardrock Developments is using Bath and West Country suppliers wherever possible.

The first homes are anticipated to be complete and ready for their new owners to move into later in 2017.
