Our Story

Heirlooms began manufacturing bespoke linens at our workshop in West Sussex, England, in 1984. Over thirty years on, we remain true to our founding principles, combining the finest materials and traditional craftsmanship to create linens of exceptional quality and lasting beauty.

Working with private clients on 5 continents we have longstanding relationships with the world’s leading yacht builders, executive jet manufacturers, interior designers, property developers and boutique hotels. Our many years of craftsmanship and experience of creating bespoke linens for the British Royal family cumulated in us being granted Royal Warrants for both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales.

As a small couture house, our focus is always on the individual. We work closely with clients and designers to create linens that perfectly compliment your interior concept and colour palette. We also keep detailed records of every project, so we can match designs and materials even years later.

Materials, Craftsmanship and Expertise

At Heirlooms, we manufacture all our linens in-house, using the finest Italian-woven fabrics, and state-of-the-art embroidery machines built to our own specification. This gives us the flexibility to create anything you desire: if it can be stitched together, we can make it for you. And because we have complete control over the manufacturing process, you benefit from shorter lead times, and no minimum order quantities.

We have always believed that, even with today’s technology, there is no substitute for the craftsman’s hands, eyes and instincts. Our highly skilled designers, cutters, machinists and embroiderers have a deep love and understanding of materials and how they work together. They personally measure, cut, stitch and check every item, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, workmanship and durability. It’s this human touch that makes our linens as individual as the people we create them for.

With an increase in client base we have spent the last 12 months expanding our production capacity, purchasing exciting new cutting equipment and further expansion is planned over the coming year.

Our commitment doesn’t end with the maiden voyage or after you move in. We keep detailed records of every piece we’ve made for you, including templates of mattresses and tables. So if you need extras, replacements, or a whole new look, you know you can always come back to us, where time and tide may lead.
