MG & AG Architects

Miguel Garcia and Andres Garcia Quetglas Castiella, besides being father and son, are the architects that give name to the firm MG & AG Architects. They joined in 2012 and have worked together on more than 40 projects in Ibiza, Amsterdam and Havana. Settled in Ibiza, have specialized in what they call the "deconstruction" of traditional payesa architecture, ie, they use the same materials that were used 500 years ago in the area although adapting them to special geometries and numerous entries of light and Water. MG & AG Architects has been awarded the Mediterranean Excellent Awards 2015 in the category of Architecture.

Their projects include Single Family Homes, Residential Buildings, Hotels & Restaurants, Clubs and Public Building.

The goddess that architects pay homage to in Ibiza is capricious and has very specific tastes. Traditional Ibizan style is a permanent feature on the island, in old and new building alike.
